Her gift of donation benefits others...

Alisha dedicated her life to the betterment of Arizona’s children through her chosen career as a Doctor of Audiology. Alisha spent 15 years as an advocate for hearing health within the Deer Valley Unified School District servicing all Deer Valley Schools and students. Alisha loved her career and found great satisfaction in helping, servicing, and correcting auditory deficiencies in order to see that every student moved forward successfully fulfilling their educational goals. Alisha observed firsthand the importance of organ and tissue donation so critical to the medical community in resolving and alleviating abnormalities or trauma. Alisha registered as a donor many years before her death in a vehicular collision.

Due to Alisha’s selflessness, her gift of donation has benefited many others awaiting the gift of life. Alisha’s heart valves have gone on to drive another toward great achievement. Alisha’s eyes have provided two recipients the vision to see well into the future, and Alisha’s bone and tissue will provide numerous others the strength to push forward and make great contributions to humanity.

I am proud of my loving wife’s choice to assist others throughout her lifetime and in her death. Although the grief Alisha’s void has left is great, her loving choice of donation makes her death a true celebration of life.

It's been five months and not a day goes by without missing her. Alisha lived her life to the fullest, gave with all her heart and expected no less from everyone else. We miss you every minute of every day.

It is not surprising that Alisha continued to give. She was an inspiration to so many and her memory and the life she lived continues to inspire us all.

Alisha was an amazing woman, friend, mother and wife. She will always be in so many of our hearts. I too have registered as an organ donor and I know that Alisha lives on in so many of us, both physically and emotionally.

Alisha was incredible, and I admired her in so many ways. Our family was an organ recipient many years ago, and Alisha was so supportive of us through that time. She was generous in everything - even in her death. We love the whole Church family!!!
