Fortunately, it was just a 17 day wait...

I am heart recipient and had an artificial heart before my real transplant. They call it a bridge to transplant. I was on it for 62 days until I was healthy enough. I was placed on the transplant list, and  fortunately it was just a 17 day wait. I couldn’t have done this without the support of my family, the doctor and God most of all.
