Mike was a shining star that dimmed too soon...

Michael was our first child. He grew into a loving, thoughtful and giving person. The consummate class clown, you always knew when Mike was around. He experienced so much in his short life. He was an avid Formula 1 fan and could spout statistics about virtually any automobile or driver. He loved animals and over the years had a wide variety of pets, including snakes, rabbits, dogs, cats and Guinea pigs. He championed for the homeless and would give his last dollar to help others not as fortunate. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed the gatherings we frequently had with friends and family. A big brother to Katie, he teased her relentlessly at times, but protected her and loved her so much. Mike was a shining star that dimmed too soon. Love you, son.
