Steven Russell Eugene Henson, Donor
He will never be forgotten...
Steven was our miracle child. His dad’s only.
Steven was about to graduate Coolidge High, he had just turned 19 on Oct. 8, 2021.
Two weeks after in October 2021, the vehicle ahead of him stopped instantly. Steven locked the brakes and rolled into the opposite side. He was hit twice and passed from those injuries.
Steven was amazing, polite, he was a Boy Scout, Jr police explorer, JROTC, and had a love over motorcycles.
Steven had three older sisters, five nephews and seven nieces.
We believe Steven would have become a motorcycle mechanic. He had talked about enlisting in the military but had not yet decided.
We were not aware that he was an organ donor until the day he was killed. He asked what it was about when he got his license and made that decision on his own.
For my son, I’m so proud that he made that decision and for the two woman he gave sight to.
He now sits beside me when I go to bed and I carry him in my heart. My baby boy will never be forgotten.
