Being a donor allows others to live the life they were meant to have...

When I was a teenager, my two younger brothers and I were diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition called Keratoconus. It’s an eye disease that causes the cornea to thin and bulge into a cone shape, leading to blurry or distorted vision and partial blindness. At the time, the only cure available was a cornea transplant. Thanks to generous donors, we received new corneas and were given the gift of sight. Being a donor allows others to live the life they were meant to have. As recipients of such a gift, we now are responsible for sharing our stories to inspire others to provide life-giving gifts to those in need.
